The industry is always changing, and that's good news for drivers. This truck is expected to be smaller than the mid-size Ford Ranger. It'll be based on the Ford Bronco Sport, a new model that's making a splash right now. The company is being pretty tight-lipped about this new truck, but we're expecting it to have a few available powertrains. One would be a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, and the other would be a slightly larger 2.0-liter engine, also with a turbocharger. These engines will make the truck spirited and fun to drive, especially once you consider its relatively smaller frame.
With the new Ford Maverick, you'll be able to do so much. You could load up the cabin and head off on all sorts of adventures into rugged terrain. We're pretty sure that there will be many upgrades available that can beef up the off-road capability of the Maverick. Components like all-terrain tires, high-quality 4x4 systems, and an independent suspension system should likely all be options. Since this truck isn't too large, it can be perfect for commuting or running errands around town as well. You shouldn't have any trouble parking it. Ford typically gives its customers at least a few different trims to choose from, and it's a good bet that the higher trims can be equipped with premium sound systems, integrated navigation, and other high-tech features.
